From basic literacy to A-Level and computer skills — Kadec offers flexible adult education programmes that fit your life and goals.

English Language / Basic Literacy

Learn to read, speak, and write English while building everyday numeracy and communication confidence.

Entry Requirements

  • 15 years and above

What You Will Study

  • Reading, speaking, and writing English
  • Basic numeracy and simple arithmetic
  • Public speaking skills
  • Basic health sciences

Duration

  • 1 to 3 terms
  • One term = 3 months

Dress Code

  • No uniform — decent dressing is required

Primary Education (PLE)

Complete your primary cycle and sit for UNEB PLE examinations with structured adult-learning support.

Entry Requirements

  • 15 years and above

Study Options

  • Morning classes
  • Afternoon classes

  • Online learning

Duration

  • 1 to 3 years

Dress Code

  • No uniform — decent dressing is required

UCE / O-Level

Study for Uganda Certificate of Education with flexible pathways for first-time and returning learners.

Entry Requirements

  • 15 years and above
  • Sat PLE with result 1 to 4
  • Did not sit PLE? You may still enrol if you are 18 years and above
  • Without PLE: must be 18+ with a valid national ID or NIRA birth certificate

  • 1 to 3 years

UACE / A-Level

Advance beyond UCE and earn Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education with guided subject support.

  • UCE result 1 to 4 (old curriculum)
  • UCE result 1 only (new curriculum)
